I am a UX designer currently based in New York City. Previously, I worked in corporate compensation for the last couple years before I made a career change to UX design.
My creative approach—no matter the medium—is to find points of tension behind the idea I’ve been assigned or am interested in. I do several iterations on each point and end up refining the one I find most controversial or necessary.
For me, it’s not just about solving a problem, but more so an understanding of the context around a problem. It is about seamlessly incorporating the most appropriate solution. It is a way to understand the context around the tension and the people; a way to collaborate and draw folks to a human centered design. Ultimately, it’s about creating memorable images based on collaborative research and understanding.
